Arena Leisure Plc is a dynamic leisure group comprising three inter-related businesses:

  • Racing Division: specialising in the operation of UK Racecourses;
  • Catering Division: specialising in venue and event catering
  • At The Races: specialising in the broadcast on UK and Irish horseracing both in the British Isles and internationally

The Racing Division consists of seven racecourses that stage around 26% of all racing fixtures held each year in the UK, making Arena Leisure the UK's largest operator of horseracing fixtures. Our Racecourses include:

  • Doncaster;
  • Folkestone;
  • Lingfield Park;
  • Royal Windsor:
  • Southwell;
  • Wolverhampton;
  • Worcester.


Our race portfolio includes the oldest classic race in the world, the St Leger at Doncaster Racecourse, as well as the Monday Night Racing season at Royal Windsor Racecourse.

A major new contract for the broadcast of our live racing into UK and Irish betting shops commences on 1 January 2012.

All of our Racecourses provide conferencing and banqueting facilities, ensuring our venues are capable of operating 365 days a year. Our leisure offering is enhanced through the new Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel and Country Club featuring an 18-hole golf courses and an integrated, branded hotel at Wolverhampton Racecourse.

Our Catering Division provides the full range of catering services at our seven Racecourses. We have recently begun to offer these services to a wider audience and in February 2011 we were delighted to announce that we had successfully tendered to The London Organising Committee of The Olympics Games and Paralympic Games Limited (LOCOG) and been awarded the contract to provide catering services at both the Eton Dorney and Greenwich Park venues as part of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012.

We intend to build upon our solid record of success, creating a dynamic venue and event catering business.
